Causes of Dog Skin Problems


Dogs usually face variety of skin problems. The skin problems become very sever due to the infection caused y the dangerous microbe. It is one of the major difficulties for pet owners to protect the dogs from skin problems. The hair growth and its health, skin health and the thick good represent the good and stable health of a dog. There exists lot of reasons for catching skin infections. A dog itch the skin due to the attack of a parasite and a tick. Another cause of itching is moisture in skin. The infection can be contagious and non contagious.

A serious form of contagious infection is sarcoptic scabies. A parasite, which includes the mites and ticks, are responsible for the production of contagious infection. Dogs also feel allergic to certain allergens. These allergens are also another important cause of skin problems and infections in dogs. Pollen, dust, a shampoo, and grass are most common allergens for dog and this can cause atopy in dog. When the dog develops allergy, it Starts itch, which can cause rashes and then skin, is more vulnerable to scratch. When you find a red ear in dog, it is clear that the dog is suffering from hot spot.

The area with lot of scratches is susceptible to many diseases. Bacteria can easily attack and enters the body through the scratched area. Hair is usually lost at the area of scratches. A fungal attack is also possible which includes the ringworm attack. The dog skin problems also arise due to unbalance production of hormones.
